Giles Junior is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils. This page sets out key statutory information and policies that parents and carers should be aware of, including how the school meets legal responsibilities and supports pupils’ welfare, behaviour, and safeguarding needs. Our policies are reviewed regularly to ensure they remain up to date with current legislation and guidance, as well as the needs of our school community. Please read the relevant policies carefully, particularly those relating to safeguarding, attendance, behaviour, and complaints. Where appropriate, we will also share updates with parents via school communications so that you remain informed of any changes.

If you have questions about any policy or would like clarification on how it applies to your child, please speak to the school office or the appropriate member of staff. We welcome parental engagement and understand that clear communication helps families work together with the school to support pupils’ learning and wellbeing. Copies of statutory documents are available on request and may also be provided through the school’s regular information channels.
